Chelsapeake Pearls

I know what you’re thinking-- pearls of wisdom. Mais non. That’s not really what I had in mind with this analogy.

Oysters hold a special place in my heart, and as a native Marylander, always have. I had my first raw oyster at 2 years old- and liked it.

Oysters are amazing creatures in and of themselves and then, once in awhile, you find this literal treasure inside— a pearl. The oyster is just living it’s life and bam! A tiny grain of sand climbs inside and turns into something special.

So that’s what I want to do here- talk about grains of sand. Well, not literally (that would be really boring, wouldn’t it?)

Grains of sand, in my mind, are everyday moments or creations that become extraordinary. In these musings, I’d like to share some of these discoveries with you.

Please enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
